Arrow Energy Australia

The Arrow Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) puts our vision into action through employment, training, education and business opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and respectful and meaningful engagement.

Arrow has a protocol to guide staff in respectfully engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and stakeholders. Arrow’s Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners and Welcome to Country protocol is available to all staff and is practiced at all significant meetings and functions. The protocol aswell as a calendar highlighting significant dates for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is available on Arrow’s intranet.

The Koori Mail and National Indigenous Times newspapers are made available to staff in all lunch rooms, and Aboriginal art is placed in workplaces with an explanation of their significance and meaning. We also support cultural awareness and sharing through our Acknowledgment of Country and Welcome to Country protocol, providing cultural awareness training for all staff and celebrating National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week through community and staff activities.
